At my place of employment there was discussion of banning everything except for edge on company pcs. Their propaganda must be getting good around services only working on their browser platform.
The frustrating thing is that IT can make a perfectly reasonable argument about reducing support overhead by standardizing on one browser. Microsoft just happens to be in a great position to make sure that browser is theirs.
It's interesting how much of modern software competition happens through little bits of friction rather than outright restrictions

How does one uninstall Microsoft Edge these days? The option is grayed out on my Windows 11 machine.
