Reddit is absolutely unusable, an ocean of dark patterns.

And that's not even taking into account having to interact with the average redditor.

Reddit has too much of censorship to be interesting.

I’ve sunset my personal use of reddit because of enshittification like this. I’m sick of these platforms.

Your personal issue should be at AI being the reason for the "enshittification".

The bots are now more intelligent at scraping at it is affecting everyone and it is not just Reddit.

And yet it isn’t, my personal issue that it is. Reddit has been making itself worse in an attempt to make more money for a long time. I have no sympathy for a platform that trades user experience for money like this. Worth noting that it’s trivial to scrape reddit even without rss or an account.

Yeah, the enshittification predates ChatGPT's release by a few years

The API lockdown was the last straw for me. When Apollo stopped working, I stopped using Reddit. Sure, it comes up in search results and I'll click through but it stopped being a place I "hung out".

I'm not sure whether it's more concerning that bots are on Reddit or that people still are.

    “Because of AI bots”

Yeah. Right. As if. It’s just another excuse to make reddit an even worse place than it already is.
