PREMORTEM: AI idea red team. Submit a startup idea. Six AI agents simultaneously try to tear it apart — market, tech, competition, unit economics, and more. A seventh writes the memo.
the idea is good to have those kind of things to evaluate ideas but it is but the score is not really clear, if I have 4/10 does it means my idea is 4 out of 10 to build or the red team gives it a 4/10 on the 'do not build it' scale
Fair point, the polarity is easy to misread. The score is how viable the idea looks after the red team (higher is better), not a "do not build" score. I will make that clearer in the UI.
I don’t understand this type of business. It’s basically a set of prompts? Why wouldn’t I just ask Claude to do the same? It can spawn multiple agents and have them red-team any idea

IDEA SCORE Average of the six seats: 2.5 / 10
THE CUSTOMER DOUBTER 3
THE COMPETITOR SCOUT 2
THE MARKET SKEPTIC 4
THE TECHNICAL CRITIC 3
THE UNIT ECONOMICS JUDGE 2
THE PESSIMIST 1
I like the name, and the idea. Not sure 6 AI Agents could give you the feeback that the free market naturally provides. Cool idea though
Sounds like a great way to aggregate a bunch of other people's startup ideas...
Hahaha, I thought about that too, I have to admit, it’s a really great idea
six agents roasting my idea in 90 seconds is way cheaper than pitching it to friends at dinner. any chance of a round two where I get to fight back?

isn't most of this in gstack?
- you know what you should actually build?
- an agent that builds an mvp and auto markets it to get the first 100 customers
- and then measures how long it took, how many people it reached, how many people converted
- and then rates an idea from 1 to 10

Generous take: they've fine-tuned the prompts with some experience
Skeptical take: laundering responsibility
