No big deal, I pay for zed plus/pro/max, whatever the subscription is called. I don’t miss any of the paid AI features when I switch laptops and can’t be bothered to login.
It’s a good editor, but the AI features are forgettable, and probably a distraction away from the core value proposition. They should sell commercial licenses like IntelliJ and be done with this AI monetization dilemma.
