OpenRouter runs on one cloud, that's why we built TrustedRouter to be on Azure, AWS, and GCP with independent clouds, so that you can easily be confident that there is always a fallback even if a whole cloud (or two!) goes down;
so we also stagger releases so that they are on different commits. Uncorrelated failures. it's super easy to onboard and get a new api key. One line change.
I’ve been getting ~10 tokens/second on OpenRouter today. And a bucnh of 429s. Same result across several models and several providers, so it doesn’t look like a single bad endpoint.

Open router is not to be trusted.
It’s not open. They’ve misled people on logs. They are not reliable. I used Trusted router as it is open source
