...after threatening to primary anyone who voted for Senator Lankford's (R-OK) asylum reform bill in Feb 2024 because he wanted to run on it. He said the quiet part out loud: he prolonged the issue specifically so that he could run on it. In the spirit of fairness we're going to pretend that it didn't happen?

That's not fairness, that's sweeping for Trump.
