She played "Claire Bennett", the main character of "Heroes (2010)" who could regenerate her body. That was one of my top 10 series of all time

I remember really enjoying the first season and then feeling like the series went entirely off the rails after that... but still a really good first season IMO, especially by 2006 standards (there were some great TV series out by then, but few and far between).

In any case, absolutely tragic for her to have died at only 36. Life is vanishingly short.

Heroes was a series where the writers strike that happened afters season 1 (or 2?) really made a difference. Ok, I should have formulated that better but I am no writer either. RIP. Too young.

Very sad. For fans of Kingdom Hearts, she was also the voice of Kairi

    1. Save the cheerleader, save the world.

    2. We clearly did not save the world.

    3. Ergo, we did not save the cheerleader.

It’s Modus Tollens, and this just plain sucks. She was a great actress.

"Her brother, Jansen Panettiere, died suddenly in February 2023 from cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) coupled with aortic valve complications, his family said in a statement at the time. He was 28."

Parents losing both quite young kids in span of 3.5 years, hard to imagine.

Is that what she died of? I didn't see any specifics so I assumed it was the default of drug overdose.
