Interesting point of view, and very nice landing page. But I have a question: why not let users access the tool first thing?
I feel like time and attention are limited resources, so a tool should show the actual tool straight way. Or it would feel like walking into a bakery where you cannot see or smell any bread, but fancy animations on the screens instead.

I think there is a niche market for these. But its certainly not for every website.
