    It's important to remember this was only over 10 positions so while the overall amount seems low, the per-position fine was pretty high.

    how did they come up with tht number? ( cant open the article) .

    300k/person seems kind of low given they get paid in millions. might even encourage them to do this in future given theyve seen what the punishment could be.

      Who gets paid in millions? It doesn't look like their pay is actually very good except higher level positions.

      Yeah rulings like this often come across as a slap on the wrist, but consider that most banks will fight you over a $36 overdraft fee, and fast food restaurants will fire people who steal a cheeseburger, so imagine the corporate alarm bells going off over this.
