Google is a lot more public than it should be, but there's nothing private about chats with Claude or any other chatbot that isn't running locally. Private as in chats for which the user generated a share link and posted it somewhere online that a search engine's web crawler found, as far as I can tell.

yeah, it seems confusing that people expected public share links to.. not be public?
Relying on search engines to "follow the rules" is the wrong approach.
