I grow my own peppers (Serrano/habanero). It's very easy to get sufficient yield out of a few small plants.

The peppers at the grocery store are of grotesque proportion. The jalapeƱos look like bell peppers now.

Chiltepin started growing in our yard thanks to some bird.

They are amazing, high heat small dose, I'll just crunch one or two in the morning, the only downside is my spice tolerance is now accidently extremely high.

Poblano and jalapeno grow fine here (SW Wisconsin), but absent a green house we can't get sweet (bell) peppers to grow.

Oh, yeah, how didn't I think of it before. We can grow our own tomatoes, apples, peppers, and onions and build our own cars, EVs, data centers, planes and nuclear power plants and on and on - in our own backyards. Who needs a properly working market when we can do everything ourselves. \s
