        Two up-and-coming Chinese memory vendors, YMTC and CXMT, could offer
        customers relief from shortages and skyrocketing prices, but not if US
        Representatives John Moolenaar (R-MI) and George Whitesides (D-CA) have
        anything to say about it.
    
    My longish life has conditioned me to brace myself for harm, if both parties are in agreement. It's not an exclusive thing - but there's not much daylight between occurrences.

    Ban Chinese cars, solar panels, wind, CPU/GPU/RAM, Network gear, AI ... anything else left?

    What happened to all the talk about how free trade is good for US citizens? We lose jobs and get cheap stuff in return.

      A lot of those jobs would have been lost to automation anyway
