If anyone is interested in the text that flows around the cracks. Cracks are painted on canvas underneath and the text is laid out in spans with help of pretext javascript library.

I asked gpt-5.5 on sub running via pilot-proxy in a custom agent harness that I strapped to my custom web browser built with tauri and system webview.

    > We're on a mission to give everyone a permanent home on the internet: a Personal Cloud.

    There is some confusion btw: Zo.space, zo.computer, zocomputer.com …

Idea to give a cloud to everyone with AI is good, and there is a lot of people who know nothing about clouds/ai, but these aren’t focus group of site. Copy (text) is too technical imho.

appreciate the feedback! i'm inclined to agree with the direction and think about this a lot too

"Just Do Things" is a way to get started on something. It is not an endpoint for all things. Some things require attention to detail between the beginning and the end.

building a way to enable others to also just do things is a full circle moment

get rid of those lines splitting up the text, it just makes it confusing to read

"It's crazy to think it feels like four. I first year about"... what? oh, no it's meant to be

It's crazy to think I've spent a whole year at Zo Computer now-

it feels like four. I had the idea to write a blog post reflecting on my

Like come on, books and magazines and etc are laid out the way they are for a reason

i do apologize for that- the lines are randomly generated on every page load, inspired by kintsugi. it's a sacrifice i make because i just kinda like it :p

I think whatever Javascript you made your AI write to do that is causing scrolling to be incredibly laggy on a phone and warm my entire device; Pixel 7a in Firefox.

edit: it's something you (Claude) are doing with text rendering. Zooming in on any text makes it exponentially worse.

It's obvious when you don't give a shit about design. It's extremely obvious when you lie about making something that a machine output when you don't give a shit about design yourself. Everybody sees this.

I like that you like it, and that you did it because you like it. That’s reason enough.

I’m not sure what’s bringing out all the meanness in the sibling comments here, but I hope you’re able to tune them out. For what it’s worth I think their criticism is misplaced.

I don’t like that people are punishing you for taking creative and technical risks in public. Doing “the right way” for its own sake, especially in your personal space, is the path to mediocrity—especially at your age and stage (as indicated on your about page).

Please keep trying what speaks to you. You’ll get truer to your vision and stronger at executing on it with every effort you make.

And personally, I find the aesthetic proposition provocative, I feel like there’s something meaningful down the path you’re thinking. Illegitimi non carborundum!

What if you didn't break the sentences up, but instead turned individual letters gold where they majorly intersect with the gold cracks? Maybe a darker gold to preserve some contrast and keep them readable against the lighter cracks.

they could be quite nice if they were just in the background, behind the text

Sorry but this is one of those instances where you have to kill your darling. You can't sacrifice readability for textual content.
