    Ironically, on the 4th of July, they voted to succeed following notification 1250 migrants were going to be relocated to their village of 350.

    It's kind of sad, their village website has the most wholesome folksy stuff (like barn dances and whatnot). That's going to change with the addition of 1250 single men. I can see why they are fighting for independence.

    They voted for independence, and so I think that the shitty, illiterate, anonymous Wikipedia editor who added this unsourced addition was grasping for the word "secede" rather than "succeed":
