The amount that needs to be done _together_ is staggering. Nobody wants to get started, across or within nations, as everyone is desperate for a growth that is depleting.
I'm the first one doing this at the personal and professional level, embracing AI and whatnot while the cognitive dissonance is higher than ever before.
We've built an entire civilization (the industrial civilization) around the idea that competition is where project comes from, I don't think we have the necessary mental framework, let alone the institutions, to make that kind of cooperation work unfortunately…
