I really like DaisyUI and I was thinking of buying something from their store to support them but after seeing the AI slop images and art[0] I am no longer going to buy anything.
Every merch store these days uses preexisting models (human kind). It's been like this since before everyone thought about Ai, re: ChatGPT
They were using older Ai (or maybe not even needed, just basic image editing) which puts your logo text on a ore existing image of a person in a blank shirt.
Maybe now they are using more genai, but I suspect not because it is unreliable compared to what they have a been doing for many years.
If you like the project, you should support it, even if the merch store they use makes merch images that triggers your slop detectors. The project doesn't have much choice in the matter.
