I've been daily driving on Fairphones for a few years as a tester for Murena. It's painless, and fits my threat model of trying to mitigate corporate tracking. My elderly mother uses it too. I really like the app store. No purchases, FDroid integrated. I don't use the Murena cloud stuff but it works well with my own nextcloud. I recommend it.
i have used /e/OS every day for a couple years now but the only thing i ever see change are
- third party apps updated
- fixed bug in murena subscription only app
i guess nothing about it has to be updated but it feels uncanny that every update is either a dependency bump or financial interest

I installed eOS on our car phone the other day so that my wife can try it out, with Fairphone in mind.
Neither one of us has used it much so far but it's uncanny how iPhone like it feels. Though I've never owned an iOS device.
Two questions,
- which Android is it based on? Still 15? Or maybe finally 16, released over a year ago?
- how does your track record in backporting vulnerability patches looks like? :)
no screenshots? why even bother making an announcement post?
Found some screenshots in their attached video: https://www.youtube.com/live/22lW9FBCldY?si=eyVmILcBtE_4KEAI
Chose USA and English and got redirected to a 404.
Installed it recently for my mother
Seems quite good overall. One the most complete ROMs out of the box
please get rid of the "/" it's obnoxious and distracts from the power of the project
I mean, it's better than /b/OS would be, no?
