I still use office 2003 on Windows
It launches in half a second on any modern machine and does the important stuff even in 2026
A great reminder to use open standards for works you want to last longer than potato salad.
Seven years. I have documents several times older than that, and LibreOffice never mugs me.
Why did they really do this?
