Very different approach than before where US citizens or aid workers would be repatriated back for state of the art treatment.
Downside of this approach is that it creates further disincentives for US based experts and doctors to help out.
Part of the point, to the extent this Administration is considering that
Wasn't it Houston where the last Ebola case hit? I think the last time this happened it was a major failure, both PR wise as well as safety. I doubt any hospitals in the US have done ANY preparation since that time.
Fingers crossed they send RFK Jr to assist.
