Thoroughly confused for a moment... "Wait, MySpace was still around in 2007?" In my confused mind, MySpace was one of those mid-to-late 1990s pre-dot-com-bubble internet companies like GeoCities, Yahoo or AOL. But apparently MySpace is post-dot-com-bubble (founded in 2003) and then was overtaken by Facebook a couple of years later.

2007/2008 was the turning point for MySpace imho.
I went to a concert early summer 2007, and they asked the audience to friend them on MySpace.
Went away for the autumn/winter on exchange. Came back, went to a show and this band asked audiences to add them on Facebook.
It still has a monopoly on my heart.
How would they lose it? It’s quite a big box.
