> President Donald Trump: They kill the birds
I was surprised recently that domestic cats are thought to kill upto 4 billion birds annually in the US (compared with upto 1/2 million by windows and 1 million by 'windmills')
I thought the argument was that if nature did something it was cool and great but if humans did the same thing it was evil and twisted?
Outdoor cats are pretty much an extremely invasive species caused by humans. I love my cats but I keep them indoors only
Domestic cats are not ‘nature’
I mean don't forget that a large amount of the cheap energy going to Denmark is made in Sweden. https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/sweden-pauses-plans-...
The electricity can flow both ways in a cable, and for example right now Denmark is exporting to most of its neighbours.
https://www.svk.se/om-kraftsystemet/kontrollrummet/ is a wonderful resource
On average, at least according to https://app.electricitymaps.com/map/zone/SE/all/monthly, Sweden is exporting a lot of electricity, and Denmark imports.
(Though right now, the SE→DK import is going straight through to Germany.)
