Looking forward to it being whitelisted on trackers!

I've had to hold off upgrading my 4.0.5 installation to 4.0.6 because it was banned on some trackers [1][2].

Transmission version 4.0.6 is widely banned by private and public BitTorrent trackers due to a critical bug in its announce logic, which causes it to overwhelm trackers with excessive requests (a "hammering" or DDoS-like effect). This issue arises particularly when IPv6 is disabled or unavailable, causing the client to loop rapidly.

Btw if you haven't seen it yet TrguiNG is a great Remote GUI:

TrguiNG is a rewrite of transgui project using tauri. Frontend is written in typescript with react.js and mantine library. Backend for the app is written in rust

Great share, thanks. I've been looking for a replacement to Transmission Remote GUI, which doesn't seem to be updated any longer.

Glad to hear. Been using 4.0 and it is fine but there have been lots of little bugs to contend with. I hope the one where if you select a subset of files it doesn't create broken ones next to them in the list, is fixed.

I've been using 3.0 because 4.0 to 4.0.5 broke Sonarr total file management and when it eventually got fixed in 4.0.6 that version got banned ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Holy shit that's a huge release. Massive thanks to the team! Really excited to try the RPC APIs out.
