Before, I was humbled, learned and mastered.

Now I feel frustrated and numb.

I’m not an AI skeptic, but more and more I feel the joy has been sucked out of doing anything that AI has touched.

"I’d like to nudge you away from a discussion you’ve probably had too many times in the past 3 years.

My immediate fear isn’t that I’ll be out of a job. My fear is that I’ll lose the part of my job that I love the most."

In the short term people will. In the long term people won’t and there will be an increasing in hiring as trust fades and expectations aren’t met.

I’m not a SWE so I have no bias.

The unfortunate truth for many ceos is, accelerating writing code doesn’t mean you no longer need the creativity and imagination to allocate resources. I’d argue expectations of investors will go higher - net effect being management will have higher expectations of performance placed on them.

There is no free lunch in the long term.
