I think there's some process in the MBA education system where they physically remove the part of the brain that can construct plans and models more than one financial quarter into the future.

The problem is, everyone and their dog uses A/B testing these days. It's one thing if people opt in to be beta testers, but it's gotten routine to just use your users as unpaid, unwilling test subjects and hope for nothing to break so seriously they have to raise stink on social media to get support.

I think it's valuable to help my users if something like this happens to their office app and I have to find out how to turn it off
