I had to look up Z88DK[1], it’s a cross compiler for the Z80 CPU family that started on the Sinclair designed Cambridge Z88 portable[2].
What confused me about in the headline is that the Z88 came with BBC BASIC.
Oh well an interesting and related family tree any way.
