IIRC book and paper sites use ipfs in part or in whole.
And before I discovered the Apple "magic trick" Automatic Verification [0] I was being forced to solve a f%>|{>^ captcha with every archive.* site access, the Wayback Machine worked.
If it's (going to be) just de-listing the sites in dns, I just did a "host -a" on the sites, so I have IP addresses if names go away.
