I will get heat for this one:

Being anti-vaccine is political brainrot in the same way being pro-crime is. Holding false political beliefs is a good way to bump up your expected mortality rate as an individual. Presumably there are evolutionary reasons for believing the lies of your tribe, so the mortality bump can't be very large, but it is definitely measurable.

Is there such a thing as "pro crime"?

There's a range of beliefs about what to do about crime, and about what things should be crimes, but I don't think anybody says "Yeah, we should have more criming". Even the criminals want less crime -- they just want to be the only ones who do it.

have your kid suffer through measles because you believe some clown on tv.. when you could completely prevent it if you had your kid get the same vaccine you yourself got.

I'm just glad my kids graduated from school before this nonsense gained a chokehold on public discourse.

I don't know why you are getting down voted. As someone with a 2 year old and hoping for another one, I'm terrified of all the things you have to take into consideration that my parents didn't when choosing a school or area to live in.
