Audacity has gone from a reliable quick-and-dirty tool for recording audio, trimming and splicing clips, and converting formats to an application with aspirations of becoming a full digital audio workstation.
I hope they get things sorted in the end, but during this transitional period I’ve moved even my simple jobs into Reaper.
