From the same article, they quote a Chinese report with the following:
"Xinjiang has not experienced a terrorist attack since December 2016, officials claimed the camps have prevented violence."
Interesting.
The illegal annexation and Sinicization of Tibet and Xinjiang are much larger issues in terms of magnitude, than other conflicts like Gaza or Ukraine. And yet it receives far less attention. Why is that? Is it economic dependency?
