This is from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK)
founded in 1992 and is a non-profit organization. The constitutional organs are the General Assembly, the Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors and the Scientific Advisory Board. On the 31.01.2025 PIK had 466 employees, of whom 297 were scientists, 101 were support staff and 68 were student assistants and apprentices.
PIK is a member of the Leibniz Association. The basic funding is provided by grants from the Federal State of Brandenburg together with the Federal Government and the other states. In 2024, the institute received around 14.8 million euros in institutional funding. Additional project funding from external sources amounted to over 25 million euros.
As an independent, non-profit research institute, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research also advises the German Bundestag and the German government.
they leave out deap ocean warming, which is an extitential threat to our civilizational level.
should our ocean warm past the delicatly balanced point of waters greatest density, it will leap its banks and take out all of the worlds shipping infrastructure.
unfortunatly good data on the worlds oceans is not good enough to draw conclusions about what is happening. at 1.3 billion km³ it will take a concerted effort to monitor what is going on, other than the simple fact, that it is warming and expanding.
"Retrospectively comparing future model projections to observations provides a robust and independent test of model skill. Here we analyze the performance of climate models published between 1970 and 2007 in projecting future global mean surface temperature (GMST) changes..."
With all due respect this is bullshit. The predictions over the past 20-30 years have remained remarkably accurate. You're conflating anti environmentalist spin on the science with the actual science.

Climate scientists have been correctly predicting the future for 50 years:
