Last night was a rare oddity when I tune into those classic tv shows on Roku, and the best viewing was an original Star Trek in which Captain Kirk gets cloned into an android that is indistinguishable from the original.
The theme of AI/androids regarding themselves as superior to their human creators, including exterminating them, seems relevant to today's mad rush of unbridled AI development by characters like Zuckerberg and Altman (maybe they too bear some similarities to misanthropic androids?)
