After a 13 year hiatus I got back into rock climbing. It was pretty neat feeling all that old, dormant muscle memory come back to life. My tendons, however, were not anywhere near as strong as they were 13 years ago, and it trying to climb without injuring myself became fraught. So for the first 2.5 years of my return to climbing was largely spent working through a long series of tendon pathologies, mostly in my elbows. I'm glad I didn't give up.
