The title makes it sound like there's something here specific to Instagram, not a simple repetitive web scraper. Is there a reason why this is notable?
A lot of it seems just likely for intel reasons. A lot of OSINT/CTI scripts simply are glorified scripts that just sleep for X amount of time and then recheck for any changes and then alert if change is detected.
I think you could really take this script to the next level by changing it to send alerts to Slack channels via their API, to Telegram, to Discord channels, or if it could send an email alert using the Gmail smtp.
