The title of this page is: Now exclusive to Meetup+: Unlimited DMs, priority waitlist, full access to member lists, and more.

You are suppoed to submit pages with the original title.

There is nothing about nagging on the page, and indeed they say that core needs[1] will stay free.

I don't think there's any social media site that has a higher ratio of created to captured value, for many the ratio would be lower then one.

If you're tempted to complain about this, I'd suggest you come up with better ways to fund it.

[1]: "new group/event discovery, joining groups, RSVPing to events, and communication via public channels or private chats with organizers and event hosts."

      Title edited.

If you have a meetup account and sign in, every time you go to see anyone's profile now, unless you've attended a meetup with them before, their image is by default blurred. When you click to view their profile, you are presented a modal box nagging you to pay. That's pretty annoying.

As for funding, the site has existed for 15 years with all the functionality they took away operating for free. They would collect revenue from organizers. Not sure why they want everyone now to fork over $10 a month to not be nagged

I've never visited someone's profile on meetup, that's not core functionality. I don't think collecting revenue from organizers is ideal, if anything they should be rewarded.
