As an aside, note that a 7-day fast strongly risks refeeding syndrome which is dangerous if not deadly. To prevent it, limit any fast to d=3 days, and even then be careful when feeding over the next d days.
Do you have any proof? In my experience and any information I have seen, this is not true.
