    Eventually you run out of work to distribute across cores, but it doesn't really matter there are lots of resources not being used to their fullest potential: NVMe drives offer little benefit to games because the drives are mostly idle after the files load, 16 - 32GB of RAM offers little benefit because most games don't have enough state or data to occupy it, etc. I think aiming as low as possible - the Steam Deck - has been much more rewarding for gamers.
