Hello Hacker News community! I am an independent researcher with a background in theoretical physics, and I've been developing a radical hypothesis over the past 30 years. My work proposes a new understanding of fundamental physical phenomena such as charge, mass, electric and gravitational fields, and the internal energy of charge through the concept of "space density."

    Key points of the hypothesis:

Space has an additional dimension, which can be interpreted as "space density," and changes in this density can lead to the emergence of electric and gravitational fields. The curvature of space density (with or without metric curvature) plays a key role in the formation of these fields. Charge interaction and the energy associated with it arise from space’s tendency to minimize entropy, seeking uniform distribution of space density. The internal energy of a charge, which defines its mass, can be described as the energy required to compress the volume of space density. I’ve derived a formula linking the magnitude of charge with its internal energy, which defines metric curvature. I am not claiming to have made a "discovery," but rather offer this as an entertaining and rigorous hypothesis in the form of a mathematical model. My goal is to invite criticism, suggestions, and insights that could help refine and improve the model.

I am specifically looking for critical feedback to enhance and develop the hypothesis. If this idea resonates or sparks any interesting thoughts based on your expertise, I would be thrilled to hear your input.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to any comments, questions, or critiques you may have!
