I think considering how a vehicle is basically required to get a job and the lack of public infrastructure for public transportation, its messed up that vehicles are not more affordable.

Like even used vehicle prices are way up, its insane. And with how emissions regulations basically pushed trucks to be super large so they can get away with terrible fuel economy, and the price of gas and electricity is insanity in some states.

You need to be able to drive to work, or even if your lucky and somehow manage to land a work from home job, you still need to go out for grocery's, doctors, visiting family etc.

Charging infrastructure has been a flop of a rollout, but vehicle prices just make me even more upset.
